CODA International Region-3 & CODA Midwest are looking for interest in hosting the 2019 Region 3 Retreat.
Things to consider when hosting:
Interested parties are asked to contact retreats@codamidwest.org. Fall planning can be adventurous in the Midwest, therefore, please submit your email no later than January 31, 2019. ~Suzanne Nace, Region 3 Director, and CMW Vice President. vicepresident@codamidwest.org  Applications are now being accepted for grants toward attending KODA camps.
Grants are awarded directly to the Koda Camp in the name of chosen Koda recipients in the amount of up to $700 of the camp registration fee, after the camp registration deposit has been made by the Koda’s parent/guardian to the camp. Items discussed included articles of organization, CODA Midwest purpose, nonprofit capacity, committees, and budget categories for the 2019 fiscal year.  CODA Midwest extends its appreciation to the Indiana School for the Deaf for allowing us the use of their facilities for the day.
 The current board of CODA Midwest is happy to announce its January 2019-December 2020 board.
We look forward to working together to advancing the mission and vision of Coda Midwest.  The 2018 retreat, PureCoda: Talk To The Hand, was a great success. Our compliments to Cathy, Bill, and Brenda on planning such a wonderful retreat. There were 67 attendees and over $5,000.00 raised toward assisting individuals who wish to attend the CODA International Conference, future regional retreats, or KODA summer camps (kids of deaf adults).
